Our Story
In 1908, a daring journey began. My father's family set sail from the bustling streets of Guangzhou, China, for the faraway shores of England. Five decades of adventure followed, as they built a thriving laundry business from scratch. But their greatest conquest was yet to come.
Fuelled by generations-old recipes, they ignited the flames of flavour with one of the first-ever Chinese takeaways in town. My father, a fearless culinary explorer at just 15, joined his parents in the heart of the kitchen. Years turned into decades, each one a delicious experiment, perfecting the family's secret culinary code. Restaurants began to sprout like exotic flowers, each a testament to their passion.
Today, the adventure continues! Nestled in the charming French village of Loubès-Bernac, my father, his loyal sous-chef (me!), and my partner embark on a weekly quest. Together, we conjure up his most beloved dishes, a symphony of flavours passed down through generations.
